just needed to clarify something for once and for all
when i or my dad says ‘taking the sap’
this came from when i was little and my dad wouldn’t say ‘taking the piss’ so he chose another type of liquid which turned out to be sap, he claims it is used in stoke on trent which i don’t know but still
and so over time, it has just carried on being used by him and me because i grew up hearing it so despite the criticism, i will be using it again because it is a thing
